A building that reminded me of a German gingerbread house, only with a distinct Japanese style. Even with the roof falling into disrepair and everything. Just one of the smaller shrines at Usa Jingū, which is one of the most important Hachiman shrines in Japan, and happens to be about a 30 minute drive from our home here in Nakatsu!
I apologize for the editing done in post, but the light was very dark - the trees, even though getting bare for winter, are surprisingly dense in foliage - so I had to brighten it up a bit and reduce the noise as much as possible.Usa Jingū
